In my defence, I've come from chatting film with people, where I normally know more than most, to a place where I'm a bit overwhelmed by people's knowledge. Before I joined this place I didn't know one other human soul that even heard of 'Pieces' let alone like it.

It'll take a bit of adjustment, but it's a great site.

It's a shame Arrow withdrew, there Facebook affair has blown up in their face.

Anyone able to share some info on the Arrow/Cult Labs relationship? As far as I understand it, Cult Labs wasn't just a place for Arrow to advertise, as the forums and posters here were massively influential to Arrow's brand identity. I know a gentleman named Almar was involved..?

I always thought Arrow and Cult Labs were connected, what with the Cult Labs logo being on the back of Arrow's DVD sleeves and also on the actual discs before the main feature.

I totally agree with you, Stephen! Hopefully they'll rethink their new strategy and come back. I'd take it as given that they still keep an eye on the forums but simply don't pay for the promotion. Personally, I'd have used FB for the casual fan and kept the Cult Labs account to keep the hardcore element loyal and interested.

I hope they come back too. I don't really use facebook/twitter and they don't update the Arrow site often so I usually find out about new releases, etc from you guys or blu-ray forums.

Like it? I love it!

But seriously, welcome, I was like that at first, then you get into it and start posting more.

There may just be a couple of people you don't want to stir up *ahem* Goji and Hawk*ahem*, but even that can be funny sometimes.

I had been noticing their absence lately and was wondering what was going on. To be honest Cult Labs without Arrow just seems a bit weird. I think like many it was buying my first Arrow release that brought me here in the first place and my wallet has never been the same since.
