“It takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincent fritters!” cackle the brother-and-sister team behind the finest smoked meats in the county. They also run the friendly Motel Hello (the ‘o’ in the neon sign sometimes goes on the blink), and no matter how many times you’ve seen Psycho or The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, you can be sure that everything will be perfectly above board here as Vincent’s brother Bruce is the local sheriff.

Western veteran Rory Calhoun gives a lipsmackingly demented performance as Farmer Vincent, whose twinkling bonhomie conceals a deeply depraved secret.

Directed by Kevin Connor (maker of much-loved British genre classics The Land That Time Forgot and Warlords of Atlantis) and with legendary DJ Wolfman Jack as a fire-and-brimstone TV preacher, this is a gleefully twisted horror-comedy that climaxes with a showstopping chainsaw duel.

Me too, it's such a daft, fun film. I hope they can release it's MGM R1 DVD partner Deranged too :pray:

still remember watching this when i was about ten and the guy with the pig head mask scared the crap out of me had nightmares for weeks, never seen it since but cant wait too see it again

Can't wait for this. I actually love the artwork too, despite being very critical of all of Zornow's Arrow output (and his SF output). The tone suits the film, it's dynamic, there's less of a feeling of various different things all plonked on. Cannot wait :)

I have this on a double bill DVD with Deranged, so the upgrade to HD is a no-brainer. Such a wacky film and one I'll definitely buy – love the artwork.

That's actually my favourite part of the announcment. With this, Foxy Brown and Blow Out, I'm guessing they got an mgm deal. And MGM have a LOT of very good titles asking for an upgrade.
