I've never seen Spider Baby and I'm not sure whether I'd enjoy it or not.I'll have to see if I can watch it via YouTube or something.

That might be a good idea. I bought it without having seen it before and really enjoyed it as its a great blend of horror and pitch black comedy with a really good framing device and fine performances.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone else picked it up as a blind buy but isn't keen/doesn't like the film.

It was a blind buy for me and I absolutely loved it, only if for it feeling so unique ans strange, especially for a film that was made over 40 years ago. Now in my top 10 horror/exploitation films.

I'm so glad people here like this film. I didn't want loads of people angrily messaging me for reccomending it :pound:

It's been a personal favourite of mine for a good few years now, ever since I bought the image entertainment release. The film already had a reputation at that point but was difficult to get hold of. The thing that sealed the deal was the name JACK HILL as i'd been a fan of the film switchblade sisters since catching it on vhs many years back (not sure if it was a copy off TV or a bootleg). I wanted to stick a review up on AMAZON for the new arrow Blu-ray but they wouldent let me the swine.

It looks beautiful and Arrow have done it proud!
