Where have the white covers gone?? The loss of slipcases was disappointing, but now Arrow Video releases aren't even white and basically look like the Arrowdrome releases. Anyone know what's going on? |

In other words, I don't know. |

But yeah, Arrow moved on, as so many labels do. I prefer this new look. More like MoC or Criterion. |
Are the spines still white ? |

MGM have moved on from the white box cult titles now. Its mainstream horror all the way i guess. |

To be honest I'm not bothered about the packaging the films are in.As long as Arrow keep releasing the kind of films I'm interested in, I'll keep buying them, white covers or not.In fact, I think the latest Arrow releases look better than the old ones. |

I would have never of thought that titles like Deranged and Spider Baby would have made it to Blu-ray and be given this kind of treatment by a distributor. |
I think the whole white border look fitted in with the slipcase gimmick. I'm inclined to think the newer releases look better without the white border now the slipcases are gone. Still think losing the slipcase/4 artwork design was a shame though. On the other hand they are whacking out a lot more releases now and without all the fancy packaging there's less to hide a crap transfer behind. |
