As well as commissioning all-new hand-painted artwork for The House By The Cemetery Arrow Video have also splashed out on a lovely new mini-documentary which will be on the DVD.

It's called 'Fulci In The House: The Italian Master of Splatter' and includes all-new interviews with Joe Dante (The Howling, Gremlins), Tony Timpone (editor of Fangoria), Sergio Stivaletti (fx maestro) and Lloyd Kaufman (Troma Films) all talking about Fulci. There's also archive interview footage with Fulci included.

Should be interesting!

That is terrific, I love Joe Dante. He always seemed like such an unlikely horror director. A good mix of interviewees there.

Will you be including that weird 30 second deleted scene that was an easter egg on the ABUS release?

Would love to do that cinema excess day, but it's a tad too pricey for me, methinks.

Maybe I'll just do HBTC.

The BBFC wanted to pass the Vipco DVD uncut in 2001 but the film had been the subject of a recent prosecution (bootlegged copies of the uncut version). Because of this the Vipco DVD lost 33 secs, mainly to the poker murder.
Yes, the BBFC trotted out their '10 year rule'. That is to say, they operated on the guideline that if a film had been prosecuted within the last 10 years they would still feel obliged to cut it. Ridiculous, but true.

The same thing happened with Blood Feast. Thankfully that silly rule is history now.

That artwork is great! I'm sure all hardcore Fulci collectors worldwide will buy it just because of the sleeve.
