Try the old Vipco video of it. So heavily cut it's incomprehensible.

There wasn't much evidence of bodies in the cellar in it - or a poker - or a bat - or murders - or even a Freudstein really.

I first saw Cemetery on the cinema back in 1984 (with The Beyond). When I left a woman was barfing her brains out against the wall of St Austell's Film Centre.

It could have been the popcorn - or it could have been the Freudstein....

I first saw it pre VRA, then I got the VIPCO vhs and it was hacked to bits, 78mins I think.
I prefer HBTC to City of the Living dead .

I'm more of a City fan although I have to say I've come to really dig HBTC a lot more now after watching it again and seeing it in full and looking rather good too.

The elephant releaes in 1988 was cut by over four minutes by the bbfc. Vipco submitted the same cut version in 1992. The 2001 dvd lost 34 sec's due to being prosecuted 10 years previously.
