I would snap the blu-ray of House by the cemetery up in an instant, saying as city & the beyond have got that treatment its only right to give this other Fulci great the special treatment on blu... can't wait

Yeah good point, kinda get too far ahead at times with all these excellent releases forthcoming, The Beyond has got to be one of my most eagerly awaited titles to hit blu-ray yet, can't wait.... so when is House by the Cemetery coming out then.... (ha ha just kidding)

And so at the end of House by the Cemetery Dr. Freudenstein's wife and the little girl were ghosts right? All of those crying noises we heard at the end were from Bob and the girl right? Creepy ending. I love Fulci but sometimes his endings confuse me but still keep me wanting more.

Yeah, now that City has been resurrected and TB is on it's way again in grand style, the pressure will surely be on for Dr. Freudstein to slaughter his way onto HD shelves sooner or later.

Just watched this and really enjoyed it!

But i've been left quite confused by reading the wiki and imdb pages on it afterwards. They say that "Freudstein finishes off Lucy by ramming her head into the concrete cellar floor, splattering it like a melon."

That wasn't in the film, so are they incorrect, or are there different versions?

Am I the only one who thinks that 'Dr. Freudstein' is actually Bob?
