Love to see this on BD.
At the moment,it's the odd one out where Fulci and Arrow are concerned.

Quite right and surely the good folk down at Arrow HQ must know this and be aware there's a gory gap that needs to be filled where Fulci U.K. HD titles are concerned.

I agree. Plus the DVD just doesn't look the part next to the almight Blurays

I'd swing for this on Blu in hoping that Arrow will go the whole hog & include the Italian dub...as we all know that child's voice is irritating as...I'm sure the same voice was used for Bava's Shock too!)

I grew up listening to that but for some reason I never found his voice irritating...

The only real downside of the movie for me.

I've never had the theory that Freudstein was in fact "Bob" - where did that idea come from? That would make the movie similar to the later Phantasm movies where the theory was that Mike was the Tall Man.

it's a little while since i've seen it but doesn't bob go back in time at the end? i think that might partly be where the bob=freudstein theory comes from.
i think he's a good little actor and i'd love to see an italian dub as the english dub is particularly atrocious. that and an hd print alone would be enough to make me upgrade.
maybe an interview with giovanni frezza could also be included? it would be great to hear his memories of house by the cemetary, demons, manhatten baby, new barbarians etc, and also what he makes of them today.

I'm not interested in a Blu-ray release for House by the Cemetery as I find the film a little too snooze inducing, DVD will perfectly suffice for me.I didn't find the blonde kid all that annoying either, although his voice was a bit too whiney.I don't rate De Rossi's make-up FX for HBTC much, to me Dr.Freudstein was a pretty sloppy creation, nowhere near as good as some of his make-up FX from Zombie Flesh Eaters. The bat attack was also pretty silly, but the gore FX, as usual, were good.
