That's another lovely piece of art by rick.

Regarding Street Trash, when you say to give Roy Frumkes time to cook up ANOTHER extra, would we perhaps also see the extras from Synapse's meltdown edition?

I'm still waiting to get confirmed what's going to be molten onto disc - it's something I've been pondering myself!

Super Happy

I've got no intention of ever catching the original BF let alone a sequel and i refuse to acknowledge the first film as some kind of groundbreaking gore epic that paved the way for others to follow.
I really dunno why i just seem to hold some serious reservations about BF and it's reputation amongst horror fans. No offence to anybody here, of course!

I must admit though i do like Rick's design for Arrow's BF2 DVD.

To be honest, i'm generally not a fan of '60s horror unless it's of the Italian gothic variety or NOTLD. The Hammer and Amicus stuff certainly held it's own but again while i respect the trail blazed by the former company most of the output by these two outfits (among others) isn't really my bag, i'm afraid.

However, i do enjoy Dr.Terror's House Of Horrors. Especially the Christopher Lee segment. A great laugh with typically great performances from Lee and Michael Gough.

The original is just a cheesy gorefest with atrociously bad acting and ridiculously OTT makeup effects. Incredibly dated now and probably a candidate for a 15 rating next time around.

Here's a question for you Almar. When you get the rights to release the films do you also get the rights to make new,i don't know how it works.Do you have to get approval for the new art and have you had any feedback peole involved with the films, the director's for example.I'd love to think you show something like rick's DOTD painting to George Romero and he tells you he loves it
