Default Forthcoming Arrow Horror DVD's - 23rd Nov 2009!

So do you want to know what the next DVD-based Arrow Video treats are? We have two titles and both are out 23rd November!

First up, and one of my all-time student days faves (back when I drank bottles of Viper and survived) - THE ULTIMATE MELT MOVIE!

and then just in time for Christmas - previously banned in the US, never available in the UK - classic US 80s horror sleaze!

Suddenly the Christmas TV schedules just don't matter any more!

I could do with a new copy of Street Trash; I've only got the version released by Midnite Movies, Synapse's single disk release, Synapse's Meltdown Edition and Avatar's VHS release.

Also, I was going to buy the Anchor Bay release of Silent Night, Deadly Night. Glad I held off.

I wouldn't expect so for Silent Night, Deadly Night - that'll be more a case of getting the film right - there will be for Street Trash but in all honesty it's just a little too early to know as yet - more when I know it!

The extras are minimal on the ABUS release of Silent Night though it's a film that doesn't really need any. The film's history speaks for itself. The sequel (which was as big a flashback farce as Revenge Of The Bogey Man) was rejected by Ferman due to the Hungerford massacre in the 80's. I can't see any censorship problems arising now.

The sleeve design will be interesting. The original poster (Santa/axe/chimney) was an absolute belter.

There's always Meltdown Memoirs:

and the 10 min class project Street Trash. Although they're both on the Synapse release.
