Arrow Video - Silent Night, Deadly Night

Watched this last night and thought it was awesome! I was laughing my ass off at some scenes!!!! A great package from Arrow once again.

Not many more Arrows to get to complete my collection! Roll on payday!

Watched this recently on the Horror channel. During the film there were some changes in picture quality. It was quite noticable like switching from dvd to vhs. Sure it's not, but just checking that this is not the case on the Arrow dvd

What do you mean?

Arrow´s dvd also switches quality.
Every Unrated version switches quality.

I was wanting to know if the chnge in picture quality I saw on tv was present in the Arrow dvd?

No worries.

Yes, the change is present in all the unrated prints.

SNDN2 should be released by Arrow.

If Arrow had released SNDN on Blu-Ray uncut I'd have bought a copy in a heartbeat! But alas, Arrow didn't do that...

This was the first of the Arrow DVDs I purchased, after reading about it in the Legacy Of Blood slasher movie guide, and despite the fact it was March when I watched it (not very seasonal!) I wasn't disappointed. I almost took it round the parents' at Christmas for a festive family viewing alternative to Miracle On 34th Street, but I'm not sure it would have gone down too well.

What would the chances of Arrow releasing this on Blu-Ray be? I realize that the lesser quality of the inserted scenes in the uncut version may make that possibility unlikely, but it's a title I'd like to see in the format, and one that's unlikely to ever happen in the US, where it's OOP.
