How are the Barras these days? They were going to tart it all up with a glass roof and stuff like that when I was there last about six years ago. I took my wife to the Barras when we first started dating - do I know how to do a good date or what?

I have seen some awesome concerts at the barras and also come across some of the biggest neds ever in the area!

My worst ned experiences at the barras:

1) The one who started hitting women in the face at full force to get to the front of a Morrissey concert (!). My girlfriend at the time, and myself, were threatened by the thug with a "punch in the face" if we didn't move out his way!

2) A ned who blew the speaker system when the Super Furry Animals came on thanks to some well aimed beer chucking...

3) Most recently a ned who attempted to start a fisticuffs at the Manics (last year) and was firmly ejected by security.

4) A very large chunk of the audience at the Babyshambles gig in 2005, in which random punch-ups seemed to be occurring every other minute.

5) A very drunk girl who passed out about half an hour after giving me her phone number at a Suede gig (insert own comment about beer goggles here)

This is an eagerly awaited title for me, looking forward to this blu ray, it took me a while to be convinced to upgrade to blu ray and bought my first player about six months ago and it's titles like this that finally convinced me, and with arrow coming up trumps with some other horror classics i'm awaiting these with baited breath

I think it's a huge ask for people to upgrade to Blu-ray which is why I think every effort needs to be made by distributors, within their budgets, to give you compelling content.
