Good choice!

Any custom made ones?

I'm interested in this too.

The censored dialogue exists on the previous Arrow/Anchor Bay stereo track, too.

From dvdcompare, the changes are as follows (time in NTSC):

*0:09:15 - "It's crazy" provided by a different voice
*0:09:35 - "Shit" to "Right"
*0:58:48 - Gunshot is partially missing
*1:01:33 - "It's the Spic" provided by a different voice
*1:11:20 - "Oh, Jesus" to "I can't look"
*1:20:30 - "Jesus" to "Stuck"

The mono track on the US blu ray is uncensored, but it also fairly distorted, so has not been taken from the best source (I think the mono track on the original Anchor Bay dvd sounded better IIRC).

I'd love to see the inclusion of the original mono track on this release, if at all possible. It's uncensored, and is a great bonus for the purists.

I remember reading an interview in Fangoria years ago with David Smith (the guy responsible for the background zombie masks in Day of the Dead), and this exact same still was used in the magazine interview. It's just a wall filled with background zombie masks that's had a close-up picture taken of it, I thought that was a bit cheeky when I first saw the UK theatrical poster.

I never cast a vote for "Dawn" but will put in my tuppence for this one (I saw it before "Dawn" back at the tender age of nine or ten) and say that I'd love to see the old UK art. It might just be a close up of some zombie masks but it would be lovely to see it back again!

I'm not keen on the Arrow artwork either, but I have Arrow's superb 2 disc release so will not be picking this up.

As for artwork I came across some Thai (I think) artwork which, IMO is fantastic:

EDIT: Just realised loops has already posted this!

Do you think the artwork chosen for DAWN was the right choices then Calum?

Hell yeah, I love the four covers for Dawn!

(Does anyone remember the UK VHS big box cover for Dawn? The re-release that must have hit shelves about 1988. I think that was the first time I saw it but I've totally blanked what the cover looked like... Any links?)
