To see OPERA on blu-ray would be a dream come true. My favourite Argento and one of my favourite horror films ever. Definitely needs some heavy remastering, some subtitles that follow the Italian (the Italian script is often completely different from the English dubbed version) and TERROR AT THE should be yanked from the title! If anyone is listening, please release this on BD!

Count me in for Opera on BR Arrow-style!

I only hope if such a delectable release gets the green light then more extras can be delivered than those on the DVD. Especially in the light of the other mouth-watering Argento output heading our way in HD.

Sounds like a job for Calum and Naomi to me.

Hope this comes out on Blu, Argento films deserve the higher resolution plus i dont really buy dvds anymore.

Hi, could you please tell me if the Arrow release of the 2-discs edition of Opera with the 2 cuts of the movie was a limited run?
I wanted to purchase it at Amazon but it seems they have the 1-disc edition.
Same thing with Hmv

massi, on amazon it says 1 disc but it is actually 2. I can confirm this as I only bought it from amazon on Wednesday and received it yesterday - it has 2 discs.

I've just finished watching it for the first time and I have to say it's not just one of my favourite Argento movies but I'd say one of my favourite horror movies of all time. I was really impressed with everything about it, the effects, the camerawork, the soundtrack, the story, everything. I'd definitely be interested in purchasing it on bluray at some point in the future; I'd imagine it'd look fantastic much like the previous Argento blurays.

I understand that there may not be a big market for Argento's 00s movies on Blu-Ray, but for the life of me i cannot understand why Opera and Tenebre are not already out. I know, Tenebre is coming, but... when i go to HMV and i see movies like Final Destination 23 on BR i get so frustrated! Why has nothing been announced for Opera on either side of the Atlantic???
