I have to admit i've only seen it once and found it hard going. All i remember is detectives sat in a room staring at computer screens for an hour and a half.

I've given it 3 chances now, and I still can't take to it, even the usually reliable Claudio Simonetti let me down with his awful score!

I do prefer it to The Card Player though

Some of it is so frighteningly inept it seems as if it's been made by an amateur film maker for a budget of 20p and a packet of crisps.

Take it you wouldn't even give that for it

Not The Card Player, no. Although i'm happy to have it for completion reasons.

It also depends what flavour crisps.

Looks like I have to save the film once more! I have to admit I find Card Player to be Argento's last enjoyable film and the best thing he did since Opera. It his take on the dutch or scandenavian dark thriller and though not a patch on his early 60's to late 80's works, it's competantly made and has some great kill scenes (and others not so). It's a fun little film, quite out of Argento's comfort zone but he delt with it well. Yes, I prefer it to Sleepless, Trauma, and Stendhal Syndrome. And it's miles better than Giallo and Dracula.:pound:
