Giallo has been considered but the price being asked is so laughable it's not going to happen any time soon.

I can't say that I'm too surprised, that seems to be a problem with many recent films...

It's clear everyone here loves Argento from The Bird With The Crystal Plummage through to Opera. Why has he lost it so much? Ditto for Romero and Carpenter. Is horror film making a young mans game!

Lucio Fulci made the majority of his best movies at middle age:

Lizard In A Woman´s Skin(44 years)
Zombi (52 years)
City Of The Living Dead (53 years)
The Beyond (54 years)
House By The Cemetery (54 years)
New York Ripper (55 years)
Murder Rock (57 years)
Cat In The Brain (63 years)

I think it´s the times and not the age of the director.

God I hate that Lizard In A Womens Skin never got what people see in this.

There's still good horror being made it's just Argentos not doing it. France/Spain seem to dominate at the moment. Italy held the 70s/early 80s

Yeah, I love it too. My favourite Fulci after The Beyond and City, and probably my favourite gialli after Tenebrae.
