Personally i expected nothing less and let's face it, it would be more than a little disappointing imo if Arrow issued the first film only and not the much maligned sequel.

Roll on both Demons releases and i can't wait to see 'em!

Gonna put in in a frame in a near future if I find one big enough to fit it.
Had it for 15 years, so it´s about time now I guess

I really hope Arrow releases Demons on BD, since there was news a few months ago about a BD release from Anchor Bay. So a HD master must exist ready to slap on a disc.

doesn't look like it unfortunately, demons 1 & 2 are up for pre-order on dvd only so far.

I really can't see the point of releasing these on dvd as they are cheap uk titles already and surely most of the collectors will have the anchor bay releases anyway.

a real shame, if they had been released on blu ray I would have been at the front of the queue on release day, but I'm not replacing one dvd with another whatever extras are on it, as personally I believe dvds have already, or are fast becoming outdated, especially when you can now buy a multi region blu ray player for £56.99 that also plays locked discs.

Shame about the Blu Ray...good films though. Particularly the first one.

Some films just have a capacity to maintain their charm in a way others don't.

+1 on that!

I´ll wait for the Anchor Bay BD instead.
I only buy DVD:s if there´s no near future release of a BD version coming out.

If there were blu ray releases I'd be up for it.

I've already got them both twice, the anchor bay editions and the Japanese box set with the mask.

I recently sold my 16X9 enhanced versions of Demons 1 & 2 in anticipation of a Blu-ray release. I hope it happens... one day.

Is the reason that these are not coming out on blu ray due to costs of an HD master or potential lack of interest?

I'm Really gutted that they are only coming out on dvd as I already have the Anchor Bay editions so they will be of no use to me unless they would had been blu releases.

Since Anchor Bay is going to release a BD version of Demons in the near future, according to news a few weeks ago, there gotta be a HD master avalible that Arrow could use as well.

Can I assume AB are only to release the BD version of Demons in the US? If not, why would Arrow even be interested in the UK rights? I'm kinda confused .... there's something new!
