As far as I know, Anchor Bay did not make HD transfers of the Demons films. I'm pretty sure those recent releases simply remastered in SD and processed to be anamorphic.

However, wasn't it rumoured that ABUS were going to be giving this duo a Blu-ray makeover?

Seeing as Arrow are cutting back on DVD releasing, i believe all this delay may be down to the company holding out for HD materials fit for potential BR issue only. If all the relevant effort comes to fruition then SD versions may be forsaken altogether.

Of course, this is all speculation on my part and i could well be wrong.

You could well be wrong but you could also be right... let's hope it's the latter

I think it would be a pretty silly decision on Arrow's part to dispense with DVD releases altogether.I don't think it's happening anyway, in fact I think Arrow are concentrating a bit more on less expensive releases (Savage Streets, Island of Death, etc) than the more expensive, extras stuffed, four panelled BD/DVD ones.

As far as I know it's DVD only. But it'll be worth buying for the included comic alone, I guess.

Greetings!
