It is very true that Inferno flows from beginning to end, however not everything in life flows like that. There are sudden twists and unexpected surprises in life and that what Suspiria represents to me. That is what is unique about this film to me.

they are both incredible pieces of work, breathtakingly directed, scored and photographed, both awash with argentos trademark style and creative brilliance, there is just something intangible about inferno that i prefer, but they both, without a doubt, showcase argento at his very best

INFERNO flows? Really? Seriously...? I think it gets rather disjointed at times and becomes a series of set-pieces -- not that this is a bad thing. It's certainly the funniest of the trilogy!

Inferno the funnies? I pissed my pants watching Mother of Tears. The scene where Asia is "invisible" gets to me every time. And those witches...seriously funny

Second only to Mother of Tears.

Prefer Suspiria myself. Not by much though.
I feel the finale of Inferno,as was Suspiria I suppose, rather abrupt.

I also prefer Suspiria, but Inferno is not too far behind. MOT, although I don't hate it would be a definite last.

I don't think Inferno is in the same league as Suspiria, not even close, in fact.

That is not to say that Inferno is bad, far from it, it's just that Suspiria is so exceptionally good.

I quite liked Mother Of Tears, but it has little of the grandeur of the other two and is quite different in tone.

Suspiria: First-rate Argento
Inferno: Second-rate Argento
Mother Of Tears: Third-rate Argento

The finale in Mother is over before you can bat your eyes. Much faster than Inferno or Suspiria.
