Cool design, Dr Vic. I have no idea whether Arrow will consider using 'fan art' as one of the alternate panels, but I'll ask!

Thanks again for all the likes, and the kind words. All this MANIAC COP talk made me rewatch the film. It is still as good as I remember. I also started looking around at posters for it and noticed almost all had the same type of image, dark background with his face obscured by shadow, I just wanted to try something different. I doubt ARROW would even consider using it, and that was never my intention. I just had some free time and an idea. If I was ever lucky enough to have a company like ARROW want something I drew it would be very flattering and they are more then welcome to it as long as I got a free DVD. HA HA! That goes for anyone on here to. I spend all day doing artwork I don't care to do, so drawing things like this keeps me sane. Thanks again. |

Whoever did the artwork on the Synapse dvd needs a good slap. They took the poster, with his face obscured, and put a goofy looking face on him. The original was much better. But hey, at least it wasn't the UK vhs artwork where the Maniac Cop is black. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I remember seeing Metamorphis in the '90s. Terrible acting and story with amazing effects! Infact, just the sort of movie that we all love!

My advice is to try a couple different programs and see which ones you enjoy using. Most of them have free trial versions that you can use to decide if you like it or not. Some like PAINTER from COREL do take a while to really get used to, while some like SKETCHBOOK PRO from autodesk are very easy to open up and just have fun. And of course PHOTOSHOP from Adobe is very easy to learn the basics. I have and use many different programs depending on the project. If you ever need help with understanding any program send me a question. The important thing is that you have fun making things and not get bogged down with technicalities. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Oh, and if you don't like computers, old fashioned pen, markers, paint and paper still work just fine. I hope that I can be some help.
