I've had emails from Play saying all the Arrow Blurays are delayed . Phenomena and Tenebrae are now TBA.

Looks like Blue Underground might be able to get in there first

True, but if the Arrow packages are anything like City Of The Living Dead, I know which ones I'd rather have.

Doubtful. The only one they could possibly release first on Blu would be Deep Red, and Arrow's package, I'm betting, will be far superior (a la COTLD).

All the Arrow release dates are provisional. For instance, Calum has already stated that Tenebrae is delayed until 2011. I'm not bothered; I've waited a long time for definitive releases of all these titles, a few more months won't hurt.

I've seen several references that there will not be a Bluray of Deep Red from Arrow.
The UK one would be cut anyway

Let's just say I'm not too bothered by the delays, as they save money. If they wouldn't delay those releases, many more would come during that time frame and as a completionist, that would make it way more expensive for me ... but given the overall quality of the releases, I wouldn't mind that much

The difference is that based on BBFC criteria there was a legit reason to appeal to them which is why I and many others emailed them.

Although it would be welcome I can't see the BBFC changing on Deep Red .

But hasn't the Deep Red Bluray been cancelled ?

No, it was never officially coming out. Arrow are looking at the possiblity of a blu-ray, depending on the materials availble.
