"Mario Bava? I've heard of him but I'm not sure what his films are like though. This looks to be an excellent set and the price isn't bad -- I'll get it and see what it's like."
Fully agree. Hopefully, this will earn some new Bava recruits and the sales will ensure Arrow treat us to more Bava titles. on Blu and SD.

Sadly not. Lamberto was filming in Malta when we were shooting stuff for this!

Was that from when DEMONS extras were being put together? Harrumph.

Speaking of DEMONS, will this be a new transfer or the same used by AB on their last go-around a couple years ago? I never picked that one up to replace the letterboxed original. Heck, I think that original AB dvd might be among the first dvds I ever purchased.

One of my earliest imports too. I've since upgraded to the new anamorphic releases. I've always liked the 2 Demons films, they're mindless, trashy and gory entertainment. Brilliant.

I watch with interest to see what Arrow and Calum give us.

But anyway, I digress, let's not tarnish Mario's reputation by discussing Lamberto on his thread.

Hey folks, just to make clear the new DVDs of Demons 1 and 2 had to be done without our involvement. Due to time constraints, and our new bout of filming out in America, we could not edit and produce the extras for these two films. Consequently, the extras for Demons 1 and 2 - although the material was shot by us in Rome - has been done in-house at Arrow.

So we would be really obnoxious to take any credit for them!

Fantastic news, as far as I'm concerned any Bava on Blu is good news.

Thanks also to Killer Meteor for the info - didn't know the Italian version was different.

Just alternate dialogue scenes... the gore and the deaths are the same on both prints.

It´s just a case of completism.
