Saw this artwork for IOD over at Rick's site. This one was rejected by Arrow as a little to risque for the HMV shelves. I think it's fantastic though. The best Rick's came up with featuring a bare arse?

Oh my god, this artwork is so fraking awesome, I can't believe my eyes!

@ Arrow: I can see the problem with the image but PLEASE at least put this somewhere in the release ... maybe as another cover option, in the booklet, an art card or something. I really love this!

Or, just go the simple way and put a sticker on the ass ... one that can be removed after purchase, that is.

If that's the one they rejected, the one that has made the cut (so to speak) must be very special indeed.

Too risque?? Did they not look at the Caligula Blu-ray cover before they released it?

I have to be very clear here - Arrow did not reject this artwork as being too risque and in fact it's not even been properly discussed and furthermore no artwork for the release has yet been officially commissioned. Rick painted this up off his own bat and as always it's another excellent piece but Island isn't even on the radar at the moment in terms of artwork.

Thanks for the quick reply ... but please, do consider this awesome piece for ISLAND!

Oh, I like that one

I know Rick does several different designs for each one, so would it be possible to have a poll to decide which artowork gets used for each new release?

And just when you thought that The Labs couldn't get any more involved...

I must say Rick's latest non-official ones (Phenomena,IOD) are spectacular.
