The post above your rather stupid and childish comment reveals how the previous cut was made, and shows how the scene was edited badly. Hopefully the options in the original post will provide a better way of doing it.

It's an important part of that scene, so a complete cut would be a no-no for me. I'd go for a still image. That way, you can see the logic of the scene, but doesn't involve the lizard actually wriggling. It only lasts a couple of seconds, so if done right it could even be made to look like it was simply a filmed shot of an impaled dead lizard!

Wouldn't the bbfc have to reject that too? It's the same lizard being mistreated except it's just a still image.
