Why not do what the Japanese do with their porn and just pixelate the picture just like when you are obscuring someone's face on the news.

I would rather see a reframing of the scene rather than an outright cut. The main reason I say that is, because, if Arrow want to use an existing commentary for the film, it will go out-of-synch if the film is truncated in any way.

Unfortunately that reasonable reply would be countered by my reasonable reply of my fist smashing into the HMV employees nose!

I daresay anyone stupid enough to ask the original question would also be stupid enough to follow your course of action too.

I think the conversation was very tongue-in-cheek, longtom. I'm sure Steve doesn't habitually enter HMV to ask stupid questions so that he can have an excuse to assault the staff. At least...I don't think he does...

The reply was tongue in cheek and tbh, I don't take too kindly to being called stupid, so please refrain from talking to other members like that please.

I think a blur would be best as it wont ruin the flow of the movie like a still image would.

Sorry , I misunderstood your post and didn't realise it was tongue in cheek , however my reply was an accurate one in response to what appeared on the surface to be a stupid comment.:woot:

Perhaps a smiley or similar would have made it clearer.

If the scene in question gets cut, blurred, reframed etc... it's simply no purchase from me. Now I'm no advocate of animal cruelty, but I AM a strong supporter of films being presented in their original uncut form. It's as simple as that. Hopefully the scene will be passed by some kind of legal loophole, and I can look forward to another fine Arrow Blu-ray.

I really don't want to get into an argument with you, just cease with the name calling. We'd like the "friendliest forum on the web" moniker to be true.

As the BBFC passed this uncut and it is already out, the thread doesn't really need to be open many more.
