Arrow Video - Bare Behind Bars

In my mind the BBFC is breaking our human rights we have the freedom to view what ever we wish as long as no person was killed or hurt in th making of said film. If you don't like these types of films then you should not watch them.

In a world of free right I think the BBFC are doing the wrong thing!

Watched the uncut version of this last week and they were right. It did make me need a shower afterwards. The hardcore bits didn't shock me nearly as much as the scene of paedophilia towards the end. Now THAT made me realise why it was probably still cut in the UK. Pure nastiness that, exploitation at it's worst.

Always have done and always will
The BBFC contradict each other all the time
Passing 'arthouse porn' uncut but not 'exploitation' is ****ing stupid in this day and age
Only a few years ago CALIGULA would of only been released in a sex shop then the BBFC say the film is historical!
The UK will always be years behind compared to other western European countries

At last, I can now proudly say I have added BBB to my growing AV collection and I am SOOOO glad I did! Plenty of WTF moments and some real nice fleshy bits on show, I just couldn't get over how much the warden reminds me of Phoebe from Friends! I have a lot of Arrow's catalogue, Argento, Fulci etc
But would never buy their dvd of BARE BEHIND BARS because its been cut to ribbons by the dictators at the BBFC
I've got my uncut Blue Underground dvd and better for it

Bare Behind Bars ain't cut into ribbons - that's what the BBFC have done to The House on the Edge of the Park.
I'm curious about how they will classify it this time when they analyse the Shameless release; I'm quite sceptical, too.

As for Bare Behind Bars, I don't understand why unsimulated sex has to be cut out of a movie with a target audience of adult people. That's one of the BBFC guidelines that I'll never get. (*)

1 minute 35 seconds is cut to shreds to me and I know a lot of reviewers, websites etc that say the same
We all know the BBFC are out of touch, and contradicting themselves all the time, releasing other films with hard core sexyou can buy in HMV etc

I have yet to check out this release but I dig that cover art. It may be one of the better Arrow covers.
