Default How appropriate

...with Sex and the City, Gossip Girl and Ugly Betty-fave Wilhemina Slater all these NY-based "empowered women" etc. Argento was really prophetic having Mater Tenebrarum; mother of darkness, youngest and cruelest of Our Ladies of Sorrow, "Mother of lunacies and suggestress of suicides" as Thomas De Quincey calls her, controling the East-Coast Babylon from her Gothed-up Manhattan apartment building

Exclamation

I have to say I thought one of the comments in the interview or docu, saying how all the lead women in Inferno were strong and the men are basically weak, that subtext is definitely there.

P.S. Everyone knows Oprah is the real third mother!

You would have thought that Argento could have at least cast someone who looked younger than Ania Pieroni (who appeared as Mater Lacrimarum)!

what relationship to the first 2 3 mothers films does the third one have, as according to Daria Nicolodi, the trilogy isn't complete as she knows how the Trilogy should end.

Shouldn't have even bothered making Mother of Tears, awful.

Especially compared to how good Suspiria and Inferno are.

I think what certainly doesn't help is a wait you can measure in decades - you'd be hard pushed to ever satisfy that.

That ain't the point, if Argento's so pie-hot then it would have been amazing irrespective of what viewers were expecting.
