Arrow Video - Cat o' Nine Tails - The Artwork

A break in at a genetics lab leads to a spiralling vortex of bloody murder in
Dario Argento’s 70s Giallo classic The Cat o’ Nine Tails.

It's another top notch horror thriller finally getting a decent UK DVD release plus if all goes to plan... a Blu-ray version as well - probably in the second quarter of 2011.

More news will follow as the title starts to take shape but we can at this stage show you the startling new artwork from the twisted brush of Mr Rick Melton...

We'd love it if you spread this around the web to where you also like to hang out - here's the short url: http://cult-labs.com/a/CatArt1

Ultimately we'll build a mini section for this and set up threads for other aspects of the release. This will be a four panel artwork release so more is yet to come...

Hmmmmm, I've pretty much liked all of Rick's covers...up until now. It's not that it's bad by any means, just a little underwhelming.

Fingers crossed for the blu-ray :)

I'm sorry,but I don't like this one... :behindsofa:
I was expecting Cat to get a really good cover to promote it.
Knowing that it's a underestimated Argento giallo...

Spoilerifically good artwork! Love it!

This has to now rank as one of my favourite pieces of artwork, from Rick, that doesn't feature a woman.

Sargento 12th November 2010 03:12 PM

Not that I don't like it cos I really do .. but where in the movie is the lift shaft?

There's a naked woman falling just behind the guy in the painting :eyebrows:

Wow, you're really spoiling us with the Argento related goodness today Arrow :thumb: 'Tis making me extra glad I've just started a new job so I might actually stand a chance of buying half these releases without declaring myself bankrupt :)

This is one of the few of Dario's films I haven't seen yet so can't comment on the "suitability" of the cover in relation to the film but taken on its own merit I'm very impressed. Rick is definitely on a bit of roll with the Argento artwork it seems
