It'll keep you amused-that's for sure!

You know what would've made a nice extra Stephen?

And audience reaction track like on those Grindhouse discs!

There was certainly plenty of chuckles during the screening!

I did too, it was ****ing hilarious, far too stupid to be taken seriously and shouldn't really have been on the DPP list. Defo one for the late night movie nights with friends. You should also try another film of his called Hired to Kill with Oliver Reed and Brian Thompson. Its laugh a minute. C

First learned about film form dark side nasties special and always thought it sounded mad. Iam amazed Arrow have got it out uncut owing to apparent 'reprehensible' qualities, and am counting down the days til payday when i can buy it and finally experience it for myself

I first saw it on the shelf in my local video shop in about 1984-85 i thought the cover looked mad and then i read a review in the magazine Hidden Detail in the late 90's and it sounded madder than it looked, so the next time i went to a film fair i picked up a copy and it more than lived up to expectations

My copy of Island of Death was delivered today, I'm looking forward to watching it for the very first time.I've read about the film numerous times in magazines and online, so I kind of know what to expect.

I often saw it on the shelf in the video shop when I was a young teen but it never appealed back then. Over the years I kept reading stuff about it and it seemed to get more appealing. This release was the first time I'd seen it - utter nonsense, unintentionally funny but quite disturbing at the same time.
