Wouldn't be anything to do with the fact that he offers an opinion of Arrow releases that contradict your own, by any chance?

Opinion being the key word.

Just watched my BD and all the extras today. Thought it looked fantastic. Best looking version ever. Still sad that the music videos weren't included. Probably due to not matching the BD standards in video quality. I wouldn't have minded just to have them there in the same set. Oh, well.

I watched the film in English and didn't mind the few instances lost that used to be in English.

Question for Calum: in your productions, why are your film clips always lower-resolution than the actual dvd's/bd's they come from even though they are courtesy of Arrow Films? It can get quite annoying with all the video blocking, etc...

I like your animations BTW.

Late to this one, but I am in a "bathroom break" as I watch this Blu-Ray for the first time.

I think it fantastic with the audio quality the stand out for me.

A superb release of what I think is a very under-rated and under appreciated film.

The final Arrow versions are rarely ready for when we need to get there featurettes done by (usually at least three months prior to release and sometimes longer - i.e. we handed in Bird with the Crystal Plumage and Cat O Nine Tails a year ago!). As such we have to use the DVDs that are already available and when the featurettes are put on a BD the clips are, thus, blown up to HD (all our stuff is shot in HD incidently).

Hope that explains this!

Had a quick flick through this as well last night, and it looks and sounds stunning!

Brilliant job Arrow... never thought I would see this film looking so good.

Definitely one of Arrow's finest moments. The BD looks stunning.

I was impressed when I first saw it, because it was my first BD. Nowadays, I think the transfer looks okay, but definetly not great. Fine details has been washed away and overall it just doesn't look like film to me and that's what I'm expecting from a blu-ray.
