The Anchor Bay is a "Director's Version" shorter cut. This cut was made by Argento himself and the difference to the "Integral Version" longer cut is some extra dialogue scenes and a few bits of scene extensions. Those extra scenes are the ones that were never dubbed in english. I believe is about a couple of minutes.

Blody hell! A fifty-six minute retrospective documentary entitled Dario's Monkey Business: The Making of Phenomena. Can't wait.

There are a couple of shots that look a little rough (that finale of the opening murder shows some grit, for example - see the first screen cap)
I can't believe the reviewer thinks that first murder sequence contains grit. Ever hear of hi-speed photography for slow-motion effect? That's never gonna look like a smooth HD image.

I'm pleased with how these caps look so far.

Twitch film's review also refers to heavy grain.
