I don´t know if the English rating is regarding the movie or the whole package. If it´s for the whole packagge, it could be because of some extras containing some footage of other movies that were rated that high...

Oh dear, and I was really looking forward to this. Is it too late for Arrow to reconsider?

It could be a U.S. packaging thing. Nearly every U.S. DVD/BD says somewhere on the back: special/bonus features not rated. Maybe it's not the same in the UK. I don't have as many to compare. I'm used to the rating only being associated with the feature.

There's no denying Storaro's talent as a DP, but why is it that he insists on approving compromised ratios? The only way you could see Apocalypse Now in widescreen for years was via the transfer he supervised in the incorrect 2:1 ratio. Luckily that issue was corrected last year when the HD transfer was created for the US Blu-ray. But this new development would suggest he's up to his old tricks once more. This really does baffle me. |
