I've said it before but I'll say it again, Rick's artwork for this movie is just amazing. It really stopped me in my tracks when I first saw it and the expression on my face was probably something like this !

Panels 2 and 4 are great too! But I will be proudly displaying Rick's panel for sure

Cool VHS artwork, Kyle -- thanks for posting it here.

Prince V, I agree with you on the artwork choices as it's a bit like Sophie's Choice only with four children!

Actually, and I'm going against the grain here a bit, I do quite like Rick's artwork. It does convey the central conceit of the film.

That's what I said some time ago, so it's nice to know I'm not alone!

And once again there's some stupid son of a posting a review on Amazon.co.uk complaining abouth the "dreadful cover".
I know that art is a subject on which you can discuss hours without coming to a proper end - but I really think that all of Rick's works are of very high quality and the majority of them is extraordinarily fine. And what's more: I recognise a Rick Melton artwork when I see one - you can't say that about many artists nowadays.

And although it has already been said, you can't state it often enough: this "The Bird with a Crystal Plumage"-artwork is one of his finest.

Greetings!

If people don't like the artwork, then they can use one of the others. It's that simple. There's no need for them to shit all over the new art. And it's true about recognizing Rick's work. Along with the likes of Graham Humphries, Renato Casaro and Drew Struzan, you can always tell when a cover has been done by Rick.

I must admit i'm not too enamoured with panels 2 and 3 but the first and fourth images certainly get my thumbs up!

Very true and, speaking of Graham Humphreys, did anyone notice this little newsflash?
