Fair question - why no input from Kevin Conway?

All down to time (and remember we live in Edinburgh, not the United States).

We did reach out to Kevin, before our trip to America, but never heard back from his reps. I emailed Mark Lester too, having interviewed him before, but that was also a no-go. Same deal with Elizabeth Berridge and Rick Baker, whose input I would have been thrilled to get (although he himself admits he didn't have too much input into The Funhouse - he was on An American Werewolf at the time - and handed the duties over to Craig Reardon). If someone doesn't want to do something, or simply isn't available, that - sadly - is that.

However, we got many of the main players and I think anyone who likes The Funhouse will be thrilled with this package!

Absolutely spot on Calum. I don't think we would ever have seen Universal giving the film this kind of treatment.

Apparently Conway is a family friend of the Stallones - did you try reaching out to Sage for help?

That cover is pretty nice. Far more going on in it than any other cover I've seen.

Keep the former "video nasties" coming on blu-ray Arrow

Woah! Nice one, man. I'm getting this anyway, The Funhouse in HD, how could I not? And those extras just sweeten the deal.

After the treatment this got on R1, I don't think we'll ever see Universal give this film the love it deserves. Any extras at all is a step above any R1 treatment we're ever likely to see.

Well, except for those who still collect their horror on DVD, I guess....

Let's just hope that this works out the same way as with "Dawn" and "Day" as my guess would be that I'm not the only one who'd feel disappointed by "The Funhouse" SE staying "Blu exclusive"!
