if only for the bit in AFOY where he says to "lee" "...but you'll get the chance to kill 30-40 men..."

The Big Jim Slade character is genius, even if he's not a real football player!

Donald Sutherland as the clumsy waiter is a particular highlight for me.

Arrow's reissue of this is the best news I have had in AGES!!!

That's the only of part the film that makes me laugh.

That surprises me. I'd say it was one of the five or so best feature length comedies I have ever seen.

Humour is even more personal a thing than horror though!

Very true as there are numerous films I've seen which have had me in stitches but leave other people completely cold. Some people hate Monty Python as they just don't 'get' the humour whereas others, like me, have every movie and the complete TV series and no them off by heart.

This will be exactly the same and will have a polarising effect.

I watched Kentucky Fried Movie this evening. Sorry, but the film just isn't funny. Either that, or I haven't got a sense of humour.
