ah Ok just when I per-ordered it off amazon it gave oct 3 as the dispatch date

so I thought it might have being delayed. it dose mean amazon being shipping cat of nine to me a week earlier now tho

Actually, have just heard from Arrow, and due to some production delays, Maniac Cop has been put back to 31 October for all retailers.

There are, in fact, English subtitles for the hearing impaired on this and The Exterminator.

As Sarah mentioned earlier, the delays caused by the fire has pushed the release date back to October 31 for all retailers, so there's no HMV exclusivity. Still, they do ship things very quickly.

That's right and i overlooked Sarah's prior post earlier on. Also, i do agree HMV are spot-on when it comes to swift delivery of Shameless and Arrow pre-orders.

The main thing is MC remains forthcoming and can you confirm there was also initially going to be a DVD release coming out too? Now, i believe it's just the HD edition slashing it's way on to the shelves.

Another potential Arrowdrome title there methinks!

You're right, Maniac Cop was going to be released on DVD and BD, but Arrow looked at the sales trends and realised a DVD release wasn't financially worthwhile.
