Eh? I was under the impression that the US blu-ray and this one are supposed to be the unrated version.

Someone says it on this forum: The Exterminator - Page 2 - Horror Digital Forum

I quote: 1:04:26-1:04:42 on the BD you can clearly see that they have digitally "removed" on of the pictures on the wall with putting a really bad CGI effect over it.

When i watched it, i didn`t notice it. Even if i did notice, it wouldn`t bother me or make me regret i bought it.

Is it a rights issue to do with the picture or something though? If so, that's no big deal as far as I'm concerned.

I saw no scenes of rats chewing on the bad guys but then there isn't in the original Region 2 Synergy release of the Director's Cut. Does this scene exist? It's mentioned by the Detectives and you do see a coupla rats scurrying around some rotten fruit.

Apart from what looks like a lightning quick edit of the prostitute's burns as she begins to strip, I saw no less material in this Blu-ray release. This post is edited from earlier as I went and did a comparison. The PQ is much better than the Synergy DVD. The DVD is 4:3 too. The sound is crisper on the Blu-Ray but nowhere near as dynamic or interesting as the DVD.

The ABUS DVD I had was a rather shoddy....
At some scenes the sound faded out altogether.....

I thought the Synapse BD was superb...here's hoping the Arrow one is even better.

I thought the stereo track on the US blu-ray was terrible, had to play it with the mono track instead. The mono sound on the Arrow disc will do just fine.

Just realised there's no trailer for the film? What up Arrow? Been taking a leaf out of Warner and Sony's books?

And I'd like to thank Arrow for putting the intro by James Glickenhaus on the special features page instead of it automatically playing at the beginning of the film. Very much appreciated.

And now a concern The special features, there's somethng wrong with them. Not sure how to describe it, only way I can think is to say that it looks like frames missing every second. When something is moving on camera, cars or someone walking acoss the screen, everything sort of jerks to the side slightly. This happens EVERY second. It's quite distracting.
wayfarer and PaulD like this.
