Maniac Cop: The Artwork
 

There's not long until Arrow Video's release of Maniac Cop is out (the 31st October - Halloweeeeny!), so it's time to announce the artwork panels for this release over the course of the week!

So, here's the front panel, which I'm sure you're all familar with by now...

Never liked the old art work - the new one is much better.

Are Arrow allowed to keep the old CBS/Fox logo?

Why does the maniac cop in question have a face like a zombie? Most times the original artwork is good ( city of the living dead, beyond, tenebrae) but other times it misdirects (inferno) which is annoying.

The new cover is what I expect from a Melton artwork - therefore I like it quite a bit! :biggrin:

I'm more concerned on why he's black on the original artwork. That's always bugged the hell out of me

His hands are white, aren't they? It's just some shadow for dramatic effect luv. :)

Hmm what do panels 3 and four bring?:eyebrows:

I think Rick said he took a little liberty with the art and made Cordell look more like the character in Maniac Cop 2.

That's alright with me - I'd call that artistic license! :nod:
