Some of the shocking moments did make me laugh. I'm not sure if that was meant to be, but it was a saving grace. JMO too.
cest la vie then....

I tried Lovefilm and they're very prompt at sending discs out, but I'm too anal when it comes to my collection. I love buying and owning my own films. I rarely buy those that i know I'm not going to watch more than once and sell any that disappoint.

I was a member for ages but got hacked off with rarely being sent stuff on my high priority list when I knew I could just pick up a copy from my local Blockbuster. So I ended up doing that but still being a Lovefilm member until I decided it was getting silly.

Just signed up again on a 3 months for the price of one deal. Had 6 discs through so far.......none of which were on my priority list. Getting tiring.

I used to use LoveFilm when I lived with my ex. We mainly got it for his benefit as he wanted to see new mainstream releases but wasn't into buying/collecting, although I rented a lot of stuff from them as well. Always found it good for watching stuff I wasn't interested in enough to buy, and their feature for watching films online was useful too. The streams were decent quality and I watched a lot of the Shameless releases through that. Over the years I'd say having LoveFilm really helped broaden my film-watching horizons, maybe I should re-subscribe
