Frankenhooker: The Artwork

Hope the mods don't mind me doing this but I was pre-ordering Frankenhooker and noticed the 4 panel artwork seems to have been released on Play.com:

Looking good! I like the variation of these. Quite like the craziness of the 4th one and also the new artwork (as well as the original poster too)

gummysubstance 7th December 2011 02:23 PM

really like the fourth!

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 8th December 2011 04:32 PM

All cool!
Especially the first one!

Stephen@Cult Labs 8th December 2011 08:14 PM

Great artwork. Not sure about the taglines though. Getting a tad ridiculous.

 Damn it Paul! You beat us to it! Good detective skills there :p

Who'd like to see these panels in higher resolution to get a better look? Well, here you are...

If it takes your fancy, beat the January sales rushes by doing it all online at either Amazon, Play or HMV!

Gigantor 13th December 2011 07:54 PM

I like all 4 covers:woot:

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 14th December 2011 01:24 PM

I like all four, from the new artwork to the original US poster and the crazy fourth panel. Also, the variety of taglines is a nice touch and I'm not sure which I'll select.

Hawkmonger 14th December 2011 08:55 PM

Saw these in SFx first along with the booklet art work and poster. Im on my way to play to pre order now!

Ok, a question for anyone who's picked this up.Is anyone else's cover like this, or am I just the unlucky b*****d that always gets something wrong with his covers? This is only on the new artwork panel. The other three are ok.

Yeah, I got that too. Wasn't sure if it was a design choice or not, to be honest. Either way I'm not fussed since it isn't noticeable with the slipcover on. :)

PaulD 7th January 2012 07:11 PM

What are we looking at? The spots on the left hand of the cover?

Stephen@Cult Labs 7th January 2012 07:14 PM

We are indeed. Tbh, it annoyed me so much, that I bought it again. The second copy had them too, but not as bad, so it's not deliberate. I'll get my money back for the other copy though, I stuck it on ebay.

PaulD 7th January 2012 07:21 PM

Thought that was it, just sometimes hard to tell on photos like that. Very odd indeed.

iluvdvds@Cult Labs 7th January 2012 07:38 PM

It looks like its riddled with a disease like most hookers.

Very odd indeed! :S

Awwwww crap! Trust me to get part of a bad batch then.

Hawkmonger 8th January 2012 04:19 PM

I don't think Henanlotter has ever made an actual bad movie, Brain Damage and Basket Cases 2 and 3 may not be as good as Frankenhooker or Basket Case but there still fine movies.
I to have grown very fond of all of the panels for this movie, panel 4 is absslutely mental.
