If James Bond producer Cubby Broccoli had ever produced a war film then THE WILD GEESE is what it would be. Even the theme tune and opening scenes bring to mind James Bond. Perhaps it was John Glen's influence as he was an assistant director of the film. And then of course you've got Roger Moore's presence, with him providing his trademark Bond-style one-liners. The film is a perfect blend of drama, suspense, action and comedy.

Hadn't even heard of it until this announcement, along with many other Arrow Video releases and that's why I love this company so much.

i only recently got the dvd arrow put out, but as this film need's a high def upgrade, i too will be upgrading. Great film.

are Arrow going ahead with that cover with only Burton, Moore, Harris
and not Kruger as the original cover shows on my old dvd?

Anyway, there should be a few Region B locked titles, just to balance things against the Region A locked titles that we can't watch. Why should the US get all the goodies? How many times do we hear from US distributors that 'it's a contractual thing', so it's probably the same with this release. It's a contractual thing. Buy a multi-region BD player, that's what US folk keep telling me, so it cuts both ways.
