I don't get it Arrow has released the now OOP WHO DARES WINS BD/DVD Combo as REGION FREE. Luckily, I've bought it

Now if they are really going to release THE WILD GEESE BD as REGION B only, they are sure going to lose potential foreign buyers (who only own a certain region locked BD player).

This will be a bad move if this is the policy that ARROW has made, don't you think? Still hoping it's not region B locked

My two cents is that if this is indeed region B, ARROW must have made a deal with a US distributor who has purchased the rights for the film and will be releasing it as a REGION A locked BD. It's a marketing share policy I suppose.

It doesn't necessarily mean there's going to be Region A release. Just look at Vampire Circus, that was Region A locked and we got...a DVD.

Anyway, there should be a few Region B locked titles, just to balance things against the Region A locked titles that we can't watch. Why should the US get all the goodies? How many times do we hear from US distributors that 'it's a contractual thing', so it's probably the same with this release. It's a contractual thing. Buy a multi-region BD player, that's what US folk keep telling me, so it cuts both ways.

As I've said on another forum. Arrow will know there's more sales to be had by making titles region free. The only reason they will make it region, is if the licence holders tell them they have to.

To my shame, it's one I've not seen either. The Arrow BD is already a must have purchase IMO.

I'm exactly the same as I haven't seen it and the first time will be the Arrow Video BD.
