It's among my favourite three of his, with the other two being Dawn and Day.

From Martin to Day, Romero was just phenomenal. Of course Night is a classic, and The Crazies is good, but he seemed to be have absolute control of his craft from Martin onwards.

He's done some good stuff post-Day, actually. Monkey Shines is darn good, and I like both Land and Diary, even if they fall short of the master's previously established standard. Looking forward to Survival, due out this March AFAIK.

Yeah a pity that, but a nice refreshing DVD with some awesome artwork would be much welcomed!

Definitely. I own the antique Anchor Bay disc, and that has loads of dodgy compression artifacts which look gruesome on a 50" screen, so a newly authored dvd will be a welcome upgrade!

Looking forward to some new artwork too - Martin has never had very inspired dvd art, really.

Yeah,it's minimal with an air of mystery, but strangely striking at the same time.

Nice! I like the first one too. Though the second one's also good. The third makes it look a From Dusk Till Dawn gore-fest, which is cool but a touch inappropriate (nothing wrong with that though).

By far the best art I've seen for Martin, Reaper.

Nothing wrong with all three illustrations but i reckon the first design does it for me.

I've always liked this image ever since seeing it in Paul R. Gagne's book The Zombies That Ate Pittsburgh:The Films Of George A. Romero.
