After reading about the problems with Amazon's version I decided to order mine from HMV too.

I got mine from HMV. I had it pre-ordered, and it arrived the weekend before it was released.

All the other tracks start out with that line but not this one. I checked the 5.1 track on the full screen version and it is out-of-sync from the very beginning of the film up to around the 9:00 mark. That's right around the part where Martin killed off his victim on the train. After that, the 5.1 track seems to be fine and resumes in sync. I have also noticed that the set of numbers under the BBFC 18 logo is the same for all the discs that I have received so far. They are listed as FCD425-A/VFC86648. I don't know if this helps or not, but the newly corrected discs might have a different set of numbers.

So what are the numbers on your corrected copy? Are they different to the numbers you first posted? Cheers.

The numbers on the disc are the same as before. The only thing different is the color on the bottom of the disc. It's now purple like a CD-R.

My replacement disc arrived today, and it's perfect !

What do we do with the disc with the out-of-sync version?

Either play frisbee or wait for it to become a collector's item, I guess!

Anyone who has received the replacemen disk from Arrow can tell me if the disk they sent is a DVD-R?

I received mine today and is purple. Like the ones we burn at home.

DVD-R????

That´s just way to cheap and unprofessional.
I would never accept getting an DVD-R instead of a "real" corrected disc.
An DVD-R does not age as well (a few years later they might not play anymore) as a pressed DVD that might work forever.

I get the impression this is all Arrow is going to give us with regards to replacing the faulty Martin disc in question.
