Plus, the titles arrive while the film is still moving, as it doesn´t happen at a freeze frame, if they would have cut it out, there would have been a noticable and jarring cut at that moment.

And no, I have issues with some releases, I'm not a blind fan. But what would you want them to do? Turn down the only available master they had access to and delay the release by another year? The ups and downs of this release have been fairly evident on this forum since it was announced; I just think it's silly to complain about something so trivial which has also been featured on other releases of the film.
nothing wrong w/complaining, everybody does that
haven't read every message on forum

You can't win with these things - Keep it and some complain. Remove it and some would moan that they should have kept it in.

I've had a few dvd's in the past that have the same thing and it's never bothered me and I don't think it will here either.

Aye, you're not a real horror fan unless you join SGM Their message board is almost always quiet so I don't think that many people know it.

So since SGM didn´t mention it, where else are they complaining, since I haven´t seen any at the forums I visit? Most doesn´t seem to care at all from what I´ve seen, and a lot of them thinks it´s fun to see it, as it was part of the original negative.

I'm surprised at the negative comments about Demons. To me it looks great, and I'm extremely critical of transfers.

I agree with you Stephen. Also, most of the screenshots that I have seen don't represent what I see on screen. I agree that there are some compression problems in darker scenes, but I didn't notice that in brighter scenes (even standing right in front of the screen).
(While, for example, the compression artifacts were very obvious in City Of The Living Dead)

People, don't worry to much and get this great release Arrow have really shown a big improvement here. Next time, get the encoding done better and you will be able to release a perfect product!

(Listening to the incredible heavy metal soundtrack of "Demons" while writing this)

Good site but I can't say SGM's message board has ever been the liveliest place in all my visits over the years.

Basically it seems to be a split between people who are pissed off by the intermission and the majority who don't really give too much of a shit.
