Not sure if it was mentioned by this got a good review in SFX magazine as well. I'm picking up a blu ray player that plays all regions for these DVDs and I can't wait to check it out and do a video of the unboxing.( how geek chic of me :-p)

My videos creep you out! That's pretty damn rude. Guess even the best forums have some jerks on them.

I've not seen yours pal and can't speak for Rhodes but the couple I have seen have been a bit odd to say the least.

I promote smaller companies like Code Red and Arrow by letting people know what's out there. I use to do this for money(journalism) but now it's just for fun for other collectors. His comment was really not cool.

The few I've seen have no discernible merit at all and certainly could not be described as a review. Just odd cats stating the obvious as they boast about their new wares! |

As for boasting about new wares I don't think that's any different than a " what have you purchased" thread on a forum. If someone discovers Arrow or Code Red or Shameless through the videos than it's a good thing. The biggest problem we have as a horror community is we get so elitist we shoot ourselves in the foot.

Okay, I stand corrected and am sorry if I offended you.

My gf started me on the vids as a way to get my voice heard and to break the stereotype. After all us horror fans are thought of by a lot of the public as the girlfriend and often friendless freaks.lol But honestly I did let the post kinda bum me out. Almost like going through the reviews of stuff I wrote. I just finished watching the latest Kevin Smith q&a where he talks about Red State( a favorite film of mine) and he says there's always going to be that negative person who just says " why". And I've never heard this type of reaction before because I've been blessed to be surrounded by "why nots" and for that I'm eternally grateful. So anyone out there wants to do a video, write a blog, make a movie, do interpretative dance just do it. And if you run into a " why" shrug go on and surround yourself with " why nots" cause that's where the real power of the creative comes from.
