my copies of demons 1&2 had weird crease lines all over the slipbox, did anyone else have that problem or was I just really unlucky?

I'm so jealous of those who've got their blurays! I won mine in a comp on here so it's a case of Being Glad I Get Them For Free Vs Waiting For The Next Competition Sending Day

arrowfilms.co.uk – the four were £48 in a deal they had – and I can't fault them first service, dispatch time, packaging or customer support.

Reading that "review", I recall someone here mentioning that they had synced up stuff before. Could this be the same person who wrote that "review"?

I agree with you that the discs look good. Still, I didn't see any compression artifacts while watching "Blade Runner", while I noticed quite a few of them while watching "Demons" and "Demons 2" I didn't bother me that much though and I think overall the picture is very good.

However, I think it doesn't hurt to give Arrow the little hint that maybe they should be more careful with those things in the future, especially when they have such a great material to work with.

True Zane. It's just that reviews like that make me mad. The stuff about people here defending the site while saying "f*ck you Arrow". I know it's only a guys blog, but a bit of professionalism goes a long way.
zane likes this.

To be honest, this whole "compression artefacts here, gamma boost there, crushed blacks, video noise artificial grain" stuff bores me to tears. If it looks good, it looks good. I don't care about the bit rate. I don't see how these guys can sit back and immerse themselves in the film to be perfectly honest; I suspect their eyes constantly dart around the screen looking for little mistakes.
