I think the artwork is quite cute. I like the black & white thing. There have been worse Arrow artworks!

Oh I don't think it's bad, there are far worse Arrow Video original artwork (I'm not naming anything for fear of my life!) it's just a tad off. The devil if magnificent on it though.

I think the artwork is really striking and is just about as barmy as the movie!

There are around five posters on this site that could have done a better cover for Forbidden Zone.

Yes Pete, you are one of them.

I still have his Mardi Gras Massacre poster framed on my wall.

I say poster, it's actually a realistic sculpture inspired by his piece. Bit whiffy.

Reading through the comments on this thread, particularly these:

I have the 2 disc R1 of it but i will be getting the steely (hopefully) because it just looks so sweet.

They obviously can't just go to the usual suspects every time.

If I were a casual BD browser that cover would put me off, I'd have to think the film itself is rubbish with useless art like that.
Made me realise, I've got to say my piece too.

The artwork for Forbidden Zone is atrocious. Its not got eye appeal, shelf appeal, it doesn't fit in with the other, wonderfully attractive Arrow releases, and I can't imagine it selling many copies at all as impulse buys in HMV or anywhere else for that matter.

I want to buy it, to keep my almost complete Arrow BD collection going (no Bird in there due to the print used - not Arrow's fault, but I can't support that one I'm afraid - and no Vamp, a terrible film), but I won't have it on my shelf looking like that!

And judging by the comments on this thread a number of other people feel the same way.

My advice (for what its worth). Change the artwork - and sell more.

I think the art for Forbidden Zone is brilliant. The use of black and white works really well with the slipcase.

There are people on here who could do a better job. I still like it though.

I could do a very good piece of artwork with a pen or pencil but not on a computer because I'm shit at photoshop.

If it once adorned an old VHS you'd all be having a wank over it. 'Oh wonderful, I remember this from when I was 1 month old and it had such an impact on me'
