Nice to see the usual great service from Arrow, but I think I'll return mine to HMV anyway seeing as it had a badly bashed slipcase as well.

That was the reason I got the replacement from Arrow. My slipcase was perfect and I was worried what state it would be in If I got a new one from HMV.

i got an email from amazon saying it had been delayed - first by 5 weeks and then by 1 i think.

i got forbidden zone this week but not this.

why do amazon send stuff later?

It officially came out today, but various retailers (arrowfilms.co.uk, HMV.com, probably Zavvi) sent them out last week so they arrived three of four days before the release date.

I'm not sure what it is with Amazon, but they seem to wait until the release date before shipping so, if you want something earlier, order from all of the above retailers.

Not sure if this has already been answered but, yes, Arrow are supplying corrected discs.

I understand what people say about the quality of the source being more important than the bit rate. But (assuming the source is the same???) that's a fairly considerable difference!

Wow, you can really tell the difference in the first cap! It's very slight, but it does make you wonder what exactly Arrow are doing differently to result in a slightly inferior reproduction.
