'The Funhouse' Blu-Ray'

I'm thrilled with Arrows excellent release of this neglected classic, i can honestly say it's everything a fan could ask for, i hope that Arrow can release other classic Slasher fare on Blu-ray such as J.Lee Thompson's 'Happy Birthday To Me' 'Death Valley' and perhaps 'Slumber Party Massacre?

I too am now a proud owner of this under-rated gem! I'll admit it took me several views spread out over a few years before it started to grow on me, but I can appreciate it more now. Kudos to the fine folks at Arrow Films to show the same appreciation and effort. I no longer consider Tobe Hooper to be a "one hit wonder". Now I'm anxious to check out the blu ray release of Lifeforce (by Shout Factory in North America). Finally anamorphic!!!!!

I love how the reissues of title like Funhouse, Lifeforce, and TCM2 prove that there was more to Tobe Hooper than his auspicious debut. The critical rehabilitation continues.

Now I need to wait and see what the Arrow blu ray will offer features-wise compared to the SF North American version. If I end up having to wait till late September, so be it. To steel book or not to steel book, that may end up being the question!

Lifeforce, Tobe Hooper

All three of those films are great imo.You can also add Poltergeist and Salem's Lot to Hooper's list of highly entertaining horror flicks.
